This policy covers the CedarDesk Tools website and the CedarDesk Reminders for Google Sheets add-on ("the add-on"). CedarDesk Tools is operated from British Columbia, Canada.
spreadsheets.currentonly): it reads the column headers and the rows of the sheet you choose, to find due dates, email addresses and the text placed into reminder emails. It adds one tab, “CedarDesk Log”, listing each reminder sent. It does not open your other files.script.send_mail): reminder emails are sent from your own Google account, only to the addresses in your sheet or the address you enter, only for reminders you set up.script.scriptapp): if you turn on the daily schedule, a Google Apps Script trigger runs once a day in your account.userinfo.email): used only to send test emails to you and to pre-fill the “send to” field.script.container.ui).Your reminder settings are stored in your own Google account (Apps Script user properties). Your sheet data and emails stay in Google’s systems. The add-on does not send your data to CedarDesk Tools or any other server, and we cannot see your spreadsheets, settings or emails.
We do not sell, rent or share your data, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models. CedarDesk Tools’ use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
If you join our waitlist, your answers are collected with Google Forms and stored in our Google account. We use your email only to tell you about CedarDesk Tools. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
This site uses no cookies or analytics of its own. It is hosted on Cloudflare, which may keep standard server logs. The embedded Google Form is subject to Google’s privacy policy.
Uninstall the add-on (Extensions → Add-ons → Manage add-ons) to stop all reminders. To remove its saved settings, revoke access at myaccount.google.com/permissions. You can delete the “CedarDesk Log” tab like any other tab.
